Lewis & Tolkien: Of Wardrobes and Rings, written by and featuring David Payne and directed by Marc Whitmore,will make its New York debut at the Black Box Theater at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture. Performances began on May 23 with opening night scheduled for May 31, the engagement runs throughJune 14.

Adding to its already impressive roster of top underground dance music talent, The BPM Festival: Portugal has revealed its phase 2 artist lineup and first wave of showcases for its second edition this September 20-23, 2018 in Portimão and Lagoa. With over 60 new additions, Alan Fitzpatrick, Chris Liebing, Davide Squillace, Jamie Jones, Lil' Louis, Luciano, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli, Peggy Gou, Richie Hawtin, Victor Calderone and more now bring the total number of confirmed artists to 146, with previously announced acts including Apollonia, Chus & Ceballos, Danny Tenaglia, Lee Burridge, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Nastia, Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers. The Les Paul Foundation, whose mission is to honor and share the life, spirit and legacy of Les Paul through the generations has announced multi-GRAMMY Award winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist, Nile Rodgers, to be honored with the third annual Les Paul Spirit Award at this year's Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.  The award will be presented to Rodgers on Saturday, June 9th, 2018, the same day Les Paul would have turned 103 years old. Previous recipients of the prestigious Les Paul Spirit Award were Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir (2016) and U2's The Edge (2017).

Phish, the American rock band known worldwide for its dedicated fan base, recently announced a 14-date Fall tour which will conclude in Las Vegas with four performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 31 to November 3. All four shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Writer/performer Javier Rivera is set to bring his award-winning solo show Salve Regina: A Coming of Gay Story to the Hollywood Fringe Festival for five performances only at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Davidson/Valentini Theatre beginning June 19 at 6:30pm. Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini, Australian theatre producer John Frost and leading UK theatre producer David Ian today announced the full cast for their upcoming production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA. One of the most celebrated musicals of all time, the original West End and Broadway production of EVITA, directed by Hal Prince, will return to Australia from 13 September this year, playing at the Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House.
