DENVER- The American Library Association (ALA) today announced the top books, video and audio books for children and young adults-including the Caldecott, Coretta Scott King, Newbery and Printz awards-at its Midwinter Meeting in Denver, Colorado.

Producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd today announced 10 key members of the production team for the 90th Oscars®, which will air live on Sunday, March 4, on ABC.

Dixon Place (Ellie Covan, Founder and Artistic Director) is pleased to present Toe Pick, an entirely transcribed play by Zackary Grady, for three weeks in February, running concurrently with the 2018 Winter Olympics. Toe Pick, which relives the 1994 icecapades of Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding, opens Friday, February 9, and runs Fridays and Saturdays through February 24 at Dixon Place, 161A Chrystie Street (between Rivington and Delancey Streets). Exemplifying this season's CVRep theme of 'Romance, Real or Imagined', The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? touches on relationships and betrayal in true Albee style. The hit musical inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, 20th Century Boy, returns to the stage on a UK-wide tour to mark the 40th anniversary of the iconic star's untimely death. Opening on 8 March at G-Live in Guildford, the production will enjoy a 20-week tour, visiting 27 theatres through to Saturday 30 June.

The Actors' Gang presents The New Colossus, a new play written by The Actors' Gang ensemble and directed by Actors' Gang Artistic Director Tim Robbins. On Sunday, March 11, United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties (UCPLA) will host its fourth annual Art of Care gala, which will recognize Speechless star Micah Fowler with the organization's coveted Trailblazer Award. Given to individuals who use their influence to raise awareness about developmental disabilities, the Trailblazer Award has previously been presented to Zach Anner, a comedian and author who is a consultant for Speechless and has played a small role in an episode, musician Brandon Mendenhall, and Nike Innovator Tobie Hatfield and advocate Matthew Walzer.
