Bay Area Cabaret continues its acclaimed series at the Venetian Room at Fairmont San Francisco (950 Mason Street atop Nob Hill) with two special shows in March-one a tribute to cabaret as a distinctive art form, and the other a return engagement for two of the most popular Bay Area Cabaret artists. On March 5 at 5:00 pm, A Cabaret Spectacular will celebrate the art of cabaret performance featuring some of the finest cabaret performers from across the nation. Then on March 26 at 7:30 pm, world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and Broadway soprano Jessica Molaskey, return to the Bay Area Cabaret stage with their brand new hit show from Cafe Carlyle in New York. Award-winning cabaret performer Julie Reyburn launched her career in 2000 with the show 'Fate Is Kind'--first at a Singer's Forum benefit and then for a run at Judy's Chelsea-and it so captured the hearts and minds of audiences it earned Reyburn the 2001 MAC and Bistro Awards for 'Outstanding Female Cabaret Debut.' Fifteen years later, the show inspired cabaret show producer and publicist Stephen Hanks to create the series New York Cabaret's Greatest Hits at the Metropolitan Room. Now Julie Reyburn is bringing back this celebrated cabaret piece for a two-show run at the legendary club, Don't Tell Mama (W 46th St, between 8th & 9th Ave) on March 25 and April 22, both shows at 7 pm.

New York's renowned musical organization, The Mabel Mercer Foundation, announced today that it will return to the Midwest this spring for the first time since 2006 to present its fourth 'Chicago Cabaret Convention.'

The nightclub singer Marta Sanders follows her memorable Cabaret Convention appearance (she closed the Stephen Sondheim tribute with a soul-bearing 'I'm Still Here') with an encore of her latest show, 'Follow Me,' in February. The four-week major engagement performs at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, today February 2; Saturday February 11; Today February 16, and Saturday February 25, all at 7pm.

Celebrated nightclub singer Marta Sanders returns to The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, in "Follow Me," her new show that was seen in a short run last year.  With Mark Nadler directing, the upcoming four-week major engagement of "Follow Me" performs on Thursday February 2; Saturday February 11; Thursday February 16, and Saturday February 25, all at 7pm.

Two of cabaret's favorite and most-acclaimed merrymakers - KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler - are coming together to headline New Year's Eve at Pangea this year.

City Theatre adds to its season of contemporary plays and exciting CityEvents, announcing Tamara Tunie: Legends from the 'Burgh. Pittsburgh native and Law & Order: SVU star, Tamara Tunie returns to her roots, performing songs by hometown legends. Her band includes Roger Humphries on drums, Jeff Grubbs on bass, and Max Leake conducting and playing piano. Ms. Tunie, a Tony and Drama Desk Award winner has performed Legends from the 'Burgh on tour and in New York City to packed houses and critical acclaim. Performances are December 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. on the Main Stage. Tickets are on sale now.

Lynn University and Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, today announced that it will be launching in January the popular Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret at Lincoln Center comes to Live at Lynn series.

Vivian Reed - the two-time Tony Award-nominated Broadway star and concert artist - will return with her acclaimed show 'Standards and More' at The Metropolitan Room for two more performances this year on Thursday, November 10 at 9:30 PM and Wednesday, December 14 at 9:30 PM.

The performance will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Matt Baker on piano.
