On Monday, October 29, 2012, join us at 9:30pm for B.A.D. AT SPLASH as Neal Bennington & Henry Ravelo present Broadway Sings for Pride's Broadway After Dark" at the legendary Splash in New York City. Splash amps up their usual Musical Monday's line up to benefit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org). The show runs from 10:30 to approximately 11:45pm, will consist of killer musical performances from Broadway's best talent, sexy burlesque numbers, fierce drag queens, raffles and much more!

On Monday, October 29, 2012 come celebrate Halloween a few days early with "Broadway Sings for Pride: Broadway After Dark" at the legendary Splash in New York City. Splash amps up their usual Musical Mondays line up to benefit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org). ; The night, starting at 10:30pm, will feature cast members from Broadway's Wicked, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, The Lion King, Hair and many more. The event is free but Broadway Sings for Pride will be accepting donations throughout the night.

The off-Broadway production of Rent closed last night, September 9, at New World Stages. The production played 32 previews and 450 performances. Rent, which is written by Jonathan Larson and directed by Michael Greif, opened at the theater on August 11, 2011. Check out photos from the final curatin call below!

Just last night, GLAAD, the nation's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media advocacy and anti-defamation organization, hosted GLAAD Manhattan, presented by Bravo, Ketel One and Miller 64 at the Eventi Hotel. GLAAD's annual summer event featured hors d'oeuvres, hosted cocktails, and special performances to celebrate and highlight GLAAD's work to build support for equality. According to the show's Facebook page, Emma Hunton Josh Grisetti, and Justin Johnston will join the cast of off-Broadway's RENT on January 20. Johnston wrote on Twitter: 'That's right. I start Jan. 18 at New World Stages in NYC. Who knew... Roger'. Hunton added: 'So excited for rehearsal tomorrow. Make sure you all come down to New World Stages and come see Rent.' The trio will replace Annaleigh Ashford, Adam Chanler-Berat and Matt Shindledecker as Maureen, Mark and Roger.
RENT's MJ Rodriguez Wins 2011 Clive Barnes Award

MJ Rodriguez, who plays Angel in the current revival of Rent, has won the prestigious 2011 Clive Barnes Award, which celebrates the work of young actors and dancers. The award was presented today by 2010 Barnes Award winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur) at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theatre.

The cast of the landmark musical Rent performed today on Regis Philbin's final episode of 'Live! with Regis and Kelly.' Mr. Philbin's extraordinary run was celebrated in his final minutes on the show with a surprise performance of Rent's signature song, 'Seasons of Love,' with special lyrics penned for the occasion by the production teams of both shows.
