The Drama League has announced additional special guests for its 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane.

Cyndi Lauper – the Grammy, Emmy and Tony-winning icon and advocate – has announced the lineup for her 8th annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays benefit concert, presented by Marriott International. The star-studded event will take place December 8th at New York City's Beacon Theatre. This year's concert will also celebrate the tenth anniversary of the True Colors Fund, which was co-founded by Cyndi Lauper.

The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director, Gabriel Stelian-Shanks) has announced the roster of special guest performers for its 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane. The black-tie evening, which will also celebrate theater producer Fran Weissler for Visionary Leadership in American Theater, will take place on Monday, November 5, 2018 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in New York City at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue). The Gala Co-Chairs are Kathy Henderson, Janet M. Kagan, and Joseph Pizza.

Actors Connection, an educational and networking facility for actors based in midtown Manhattan is happy to announce a new partnership with M·A·C Cosmetics through its Times Square location.  This partnership creates opportunities for learning, skill building and look creation in a classroom setting provided by Actors Connection. Class offerings began in mid-August and run through early September.

AutFest screened over 16 feature films, shorts and television programs that promote autism awareness and/or are made by autistic filmmakers.

The second Annual AutFest International Film Festival, presented by The Autism Society, will take place Saturday, April 28 - Sunday, April 29 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, California. It will screen six feature-length films, seven shorts and two television shows that promote autism awareness and/or are made by filmmakers with autism.

AutFest International Film Festival announced its official program selections for its second annual film festival celebrating autism awareness “From Spectrum to Screen.” Presented by The Autism Society, AutFest will screen over 16 feature films, short films and television programs that promote autism awareness and/or are made by autistic filmmakers. As previously announced, AutFest will also honor Netflix's hit show “Atypical” and ABC's “The Good Doctor” with Spotlight Awards for their special portrayal of lead characters who are on the autistic spectrum. The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director Gabriel Stelian-Shanks) will honor three powerhouses of the American theater community at the 84th Annual Drama League Awards, set for Friday afternoon, May 18, 2018 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.

The first episode of the ten part series, produced in partnership with MAC Cosmetics, will be released on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018. The unscripted series follows three Instagram influencers as they learn what it takes to be a drag superstar. Guided by a MAC pro artist and their “Drag Mother”, each participant tucks, plucks and struts their way to discovering the glamorous queen inside each of them.
