Brooklyn's AbunDance Academy of the Arts Presents DREAM, ABUNDANTLY!

AbunDance Academy of the Arts, an established non-profit arts organization dedicated to offering children and adults affordable dance, theater, and musical instruction at all levels, presents a new work, "DREAM, AbunDantly!", a theatrical dance performance featuring students and seasoned Broadway artists on the same stage. Inspired by the hit movie "Dreamgirls," "DREAM, AbunDantly!" tells the story of four African American girls who follow their dreams to become top performers, while using their platform to champion the fight against racism: segregation, police brutality and cultural appropriation. An inspiring story expressed primarily through dance, song and live music, "DREAM, AbunDantly!," is a celebration of black women reaching across generations to achieve their dreams.

ABC's Tuesday Primetime (8:00-11:00 p.m. – 9.9 million and 2.8/11 in AD18-49):  Driven by an impressive premiere for “Roseanne” leading to improvement across the night, ABC more than doubled its nearest Tuesday competition in Adults 18-49 (+155% – 2.8/11 vs. 1.1/5 – CBS and NBC tied). ABC aired the Top 3 shows of the night with young adults. ABC posted its strongest Tuesday with series programming in 4½ years – since 9/24/13.

Home Entertainment will team up for 'DC in D.C.,' a landmark pop culture event that brings together the worlds of entertainment and public service to illuminate the story of America and current issues through the lens of comics and Super Heroes. Events will take place Friday, January 12, and Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Newseum, and will culminate with the world premiere screening of the upcoming DC series Black Lightning - based on the first African-American DC Super Hero to have his own stand-alone comic title - in the Warner Bros. Theater at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, with a party to follow at the National Museum of African American History and Culture????.
