Last night, Chris Gethard celebrated the opening of his off-Broadway show Chris Gethard: Career Suicide at The Lynn Redgrave Theater. Opening night well-wishers included Judd Apatow (Trainwreck, Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Bridesmaids), Josh Radnor ('How I Met Your Mother'), Colin Quinn (Colin Quinn: The New York Story, 'Saturday Night Live'), Aasif Mandvi ('The Daily Show'), and Kimberly Senior (director, Chris Gethard: Career Suicide, Disgraced). Chris Gethard: Career Suicide, a new comedy written and performed by Chris Gethard, has extended its run at The Lynn Redgrave Theater, (45 Bleecker Street at the corner of Lafayette Street) due to overwhelming ticket sales, even before the first performance. La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts Presents LEND ME A TENOR

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT are delighted to present the second show of its 2016-2017 season:  Davis Gaines starring in the hilarious comedy LEND ME A TENOR, written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Art Manke.  LEND ME A TENOR will preview on Friday, October 21, 2016 (with a press opening on Saturday, October 22) and run through Sunday, November 13, 2016 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

United Solo Festival will present writer/performer Phil Johnson in his latest solo work, A Jewish Joke - a drama about comedy as relevant today is it was during the McCarthy era - in a single performance today, September 17th at 4pm at The Studio Theatre @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street - just east of Broadway.)

Singapore Literature Festival Presents An Evening of New Theatrical Work

 The Singapore Literature Festival Closing Night: OUTSIDE THE LINES features theatrical performances of works by Alfian Sa'at (Hotel), Ovidia Yu (The Woman in a Tree On the Hill), and Marcus Yi (After the Merlion Returned Home). The staged readings will be performed on September 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the National Opera Center at 330 7th Ave, New York, NY. Free and open to the public. Registration is required.
