The highly anticipated Washington, D.C. premiere run of the critically acclaimed new plays, The Gabriels: Election Year in the Life of One Family, will now begin on January 7, 2017 rather than the previously announced date of January 3, due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Written and directed by Nelson, WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE is the third and final play of the three-play cycle, THE GABRIELS: Election Year in the Life of One Family and runs through Sunday, December 4. All three plays will run in repertory on Saturday, December 10; Sunday, December 11; Wednesday, December 14; Saturday, December 17; and Sunday, December 18. The Public Theater announced a final one-week extension today for HUNGRY, continuing Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season. Play one, part of THE GABRIELS: Election Year in the Life of One Family, written and directed by Richard Nelson, HUNGRY officially opened on Friday, March 4 and has now been extended a final week through Sunday, April 3. Featuring the same core acting company for all three productions, the second play in the cycle, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?, will premiere in September and the final play in the new cycle, WOMEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, will open on election night, November 8, 2016.
