TV Land's historic reunion of the female cast of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show' on the network's original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' is here! Next Wednesday, September 4th at 10pm ET/PT, TV Land brings together Mary Tyler Moore, Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman, Georgia Engel and 'Hot in Cleveland' regular Betty White for an unprecedented reunion of one of the most revered TV casts of all time. This is the first time in over 30 years that the five former castmates have gotten together for a sitcom.
Syfy Begins Production on New Series HELIX

Syfy's newest original scripted series Helix from Sony Pictures Television began production this past weekend in Montreal, Canada. The 13-episode drama is executive produced by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander), Steven Maeda (Lost, The X-Files) who is also showrunner, and Lynda Obst (Sleepless in Seattle, Contact). Cameron Porsandeh, who wrote the pilot, will serve as a Co-Executive Producer.

Matthew McConaughey is headed to space. As BWW Movies previously reported, acclaimed director Christopher Nolan offered McConaughey the lead in his upcoming film INTERSTELLAR last week. Today, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the actor has officially accepted Nolan's offer.

TV Land has renewed 'Hot in Cleveland' for a fifth season, it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. The 24-episode order brings the series to a total of 104 episodes. This past January, CBS Television Distribution announced that it has sold 'Hot in Cleveland' to TV stations in 92% of the United States for a September 2014 launch. The series stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White.

Syfy is giving a 13-episode greenlight to Helix (working title), its newest original scripted series for 2013, it was announced today by Mark Stern, President of Original Content, Syfy and Co-Head Original Content, Universal Cable Productions. Helix is Executive Produced by Ronald D. Carol Burnett & Tim Conway to Reunite on TV Land's HOT IN CLEVELAND

TV Land announced today that television comedy legends Carol Burnett and Tim Conway will guest star on 'Hot in Cleveland' in an episode currently scheduled to air in August. Burnett will play Victoria's (Wendie Malick) mother Penny, a local TV legend and puppeteer on a children's program. Conway will make his return to the series as Nick, Elka's (Betty White) ex-boyfriend, but this time around, Nick has his heart set on Penny. Burnett and Conway are the latest in a long line of extraordinary guest stars who have appeared on the sitcom, including Regis Philbin, Mary Tyler Moore, Heather Locklear and many more.

TV Land has ordered a second season of 'The Soul Man' starring Cedric 'The Entertainer' and Niecy Nash and picked up a third season of 'The Exes,' it was announced today by Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land. 'The Soul Man,' which debuted in June of this year, was the channel's second highest rated original series premiere following only the series launch of 'Hot in Cleveland' in June 2010.
