New York's Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announces the Los Angeles premiere of the critically-acclaimed play Slipping, written and directed by Daniel Talbott, which will begin previews Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Elephant Stages' Lillian Theatre in Hollywood, CA. It was announced late last month that due to creative differences, the producers of Orphans and Shia LaBeouf would part ways and he would not continue with the production. LaBeouf revealed additional details on why he dropped out of the production via Twitter, including emails with Alec Baldwin, Tom Sturridge and more. Now he's posted even more emails from the on-going saga that imply that Baldwin was unprepared for rehearsals.

It was announced late last month that due to creative differences, the producers of Orphans and Shia LaBeouf would part ways and he would not continue with the production. LaBeouf revealed additional details on why he dropped out of the production via Twitter, including emails with Alec Baldwin, Tom Sturridge and more. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's production of the world premiere of Jesse Eisenberg's The Revisionist, starring Eisenberg and Vanessa Redgrave, and directed by Kip Fagan, has been extended for three weeks though Sunday, April 21, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street. Last week, the producers of the Broadway production of Orphans, Lyle Kessler's play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, announced that Ben Foster will join the cast immediately in the role of 'Treat' replacing Shia LeBeouf. The production wasted no time adjusting the show's marquee as well, and BWW happened to snap the first shots!

Alec Baldwin, now in rehearsals for Broadway's ORPHANS, will be a guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman" tonight Monday February 25. "Late Show" airs at 11:35 PM on CBS.

The producers of the Broadway production of ORPHANS, Lyle Kessler's play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, announced today that Ben Foster will join the cast immediately in the role of "Treat." Producers Frederick Zollo and Robert Cole said, "We are delighted that Ben will join Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge when rehearsals commence at ORPHANS tomorrow morning. He is an extraordinarily gifted actor."
