Luna Stage Theatre Company, currently celebrating its 20th season, has announced that Dara Falco has joined the company as Interim Managing Director. Ms. Falco has been a leader in the Arts and Academic community for over 20 years. She served as the Executive Director of Newark School of the Arts for two years, and has held positions at such varied venues/companies as ArtsRock, Riverspace Arts in Nyack, Columbia University, and The John Harms Center for the Performing Arts in Englewood, NJ. She has managed numerous Off-Broadway companies and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York at Purchase.

Luna Stage opens its 20th anniversary season with the New Jersey premiere of Vita and Virginia, an intimate two-character play by Eileen Atkins, adapted from correspondence between friends, lovers and confidants, Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West.

Theater can be captured in many different ways and one troupe based in New Jersey and New York takes it to another level with 'Dance Theater'. Mosaic Dance Theater will be performing on Sunday, September 9 at Luna Stage in West Orange. Release Point will celebrate its opening night tonight, August 18 at New Jersey Repertory Company (179 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ), running through Sunday, September 23.

Award-winning producers Michael & Barbara Ross were scheduled to present Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins in Larry Parr's Ethel Waters: HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW at Luna Stage in West Orange, New Jersey, for a limited run, tonight, August 16 - September 2, 2012. The production was to be directed by award-winning director Dennis Courtney, with musical direction by Barry Levitt.

Luna Stage presents a summer filled with laughs.

Luna Stage initiates a new tradition in the Valley Arts District when it brings electric jazz and big band rock to its stages for the last weekend this month. Fans of arena rock, bebop, big bands and jam bands are all welcome to join some of New York's busiest studio musicians, composers, and teachers for two days of futuristic nostalgia. Afternoon events are free and each evening event is $20 for adults, $15 for students with ID.
