Boston Landmarks Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Christopher Wilkins, brings its annual summer series of free, live orchestral concerts to the iconic DCR Hatch Memorial Shell on the Esplanade, with a special focus on concerts in Dorchester, Roxbury, Hyde Square, and Chelsea.

Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival marks its 40th summer season in 2023. National Philharmonic (NatPhil) announced its 2023-2024 Season, which includes six classical programs conducted by Music Director Piotr Gajewski, one classical concert led by guest conductor Jeri Lynne Johnson, and two choral performances presented in partnership with The Washington Chorus (TWC) and conducted by TWC Artistic Director Eugene Rogers. All season concerts will be held at The Music Center at Strathmore, the Orchestra’s longstanding home in Montgomery County.

PASTICHENYC and The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home, will present a special event which includes the complete series of Edith Wharton's The House of Mirth Song Cycle, written and directed by Emily King plus a talkback 'Wharton, Rosedale, and Anti-Semitism' with King and Wharton Scholar Lev Raphael.

Bruce Liu, winner of the 2021 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, joins conduct Rafael Payare and the San Francisco Symphony to perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, May 11–13, replacing violinist Hilary Hahn in these performances. Hahn, who was scheduled to play Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto, is unwell and regretfully unable to perform on this week’s program.
