Star of Jersey Boys and ex-S Club sensation Jon Lee will join the line-up for Julie Atherton's first ever West End solo concert, at the Apollo Theatre on Sunday 26th June.

Speckulation Entertainment will produce a brand new series of acoustic sessions with three of its roster of recording artists at the recently refurbished Pheasantry on the Kings Road in Chelsea during June. West End star and Avenue Q favourite Julie Atherton will kickstart proceedings on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, followed by How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? finalist Helena Blackman on Sunday 12th June, and award-winning composer Michael Bruce on Sunday 19th June.

The Ogonquit season opens when 'Sesame Street meets South Park' in the Tony Award Best Musical of the Year, smash-hit, Avenue Q. This delightful parody that dares to ask the question, 'What do you do with a B.A. in English?' is on stage through June 18.

The Ogunquit Playhouse production of Avenue Q features Broadway's Howie Michael Smith, who heads the cast as Princeton (and Rod) reprising his Broadway role; Kate Monster and Lucy The Slut are played by Ashely Eileen Buckman who comes to Ogunquit fresh from the Avenue Q National tour; and Rebecca Larkin plays Christmas Eve, reprising her role from the national tour as well. The Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces Avenue Q, opening June 2 and playing through July 10, 2011 on the Phoenix Mainstage. Avenue Q, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and original story by Jeff Whitty, opened off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre in March 2003, where it gained rave reviews, and was extended four times. The Phoenix is the first regional, professional theatre to produce Avenue Q, winner of the 2004 Tony for Best Musical, with a local professional cast and crew.

The Tony Award-winning AVENUE Q celebrated its first anniversary at New World Stages yesterday, October 21, 2010. After a triumphant, six-year run on Broadway, AVENUE Q continued its record of unexpected accomplishments last fall when the show's producers made the surprise announcement on the musical's Broadway closing night that they were, in fact, moving AVENUE Q to New World Stages, a mere five blocks away from the Golden Theatre, where the show had delighted audiences of all ages for more than 2,500 performances on Broadway. AVENUE Q began preview performances at New World Stages on October 9, 2009, officially opened on October 21, and continues to play to large and happy audiences one year later. Lee will sing a duet with Atherton from Jason Robert Brown's The Last 5 Years, a musical in which she has previously starred twice in London's West End. Having met when Lee was starring in the popular musical Les Misérables, the pair have been friends ever since. The evening will showcase Julie's eagerly anticipated second album No Space for Air with her first ever Northern solo engagement. The Preston born musical theatre star will appear at Manchester's prestigious Band on the Wall for one night only on Friday 8 October 2010.
