AVENUE Q Manila original cast members, and new cast addition Calvin Millado recently met with BroadwayWorld.com Philippines, and some local bloggers to officially announce that 2004 Tony Award Best Musical, which proudly shows off its explicit lyrics and never before seen full puppet nudity, will return to the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City from March 12 to 27, 2010.

KNUFFLE BUNNY: A CAUTIONARY MUSICAL will hold its world premiere run at the Kennedy Center from May 8th to May 23rd. The production will star Broadway veteran Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Trixie. The musical is based on the book 'Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale.' The play has book and lyrics by Mo Willems and features music by Michael Silversher.

No, that steady rumble you may hear and feel beneath your feet as you walk along 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues these evenings is not the A train making its way to Columbus Circle. It's the sound of laughing audiences having a swell time in the underground quintet of auditoriums called New World Stages. The former movie multiplex turned Off-Broadway house seems to be experiencing a happy renaissance, with its long-running anchor production, Altar Boyz, having been joined by laughter-inducing hits like The Toxic Avenger, Naked Boys Singing, My First Time and The Gazillion Bubble Show (which I haven't seen but I'm sure brings out many giggles from the youngsters). The hilarious Love Child, which previously ran at 59E59 will be moving in shortly, but first the welcome mat (and perhaps a red carpet) has been set for the center's new crown jewel as the Tony-winning Avenue Q completes its successful Broadway run and returns to its Off-Broadway roots.

West End stars Julie Atherton, Samuel Barnett, Daniel Boys, Ashleigh Gray, Leanne Jones, Paul Spicer, Oliver Tompsett, Hannah Waddingham and Rachael Wooding will headline this year's instalment of the perennially popular festive concert Christmas in New York, which arrives for its fourth triumphant year, at the Prince of Wales Theatre, for one night only on Sunday 6 December 2009.

Cassidy Janson is to join the cast of Avenue Q, taking over the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut from Julie Atherton

Rising star of musical theatre, Cassidy Janson is confirmed to join the cast of AVENUE Q this fall. She takes over the roles of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut from Julie Atherton on October 5 as the show enters its new booking period. Cassidy gained attention when she covered and appeared in the role of Elphaba in the West End hit Wicked. Prior to that she played Susan in the UK premier of Jonathan Larson?s Tick Tick Boom at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Casting has been announced for the National Tour of AVENUE Q, presented by Work Light Productions. The three-time Tony Award winning musical, including Best Musical, Best Original Score of a Musical and Best Book of a Musical, is about trying to make it in New York with big dreams and a tiny bank account.

After 6 years on Broadway the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q will play its final performance today, SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th, 2009. Just weeks prior to the Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q's 6th anniversary on Broadway, one of the stars of the original cast, Ann Harada, returned to the role of 'Christmas Eve' on Monday, July 6th at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street) in New York City.
