THE JEDI HANDBOOK Comes to Adirondack Theatre Festival's 24th Summer Season

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the nostalgia-filled dramatic comedy The Jedi Handbook. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run from July 21st-27th, with a preview on July 20th. Performances will start at 7:30pm and will include a matinee on Wednesday, July 25th. Tickets range from $34-$45 and can be purchased at the Wood Theater Box Office, online at ATFestival.org, or by calling (518) 480-4878.

Shakespeare & Company opened its 39th Performance Season on  May 27 with the regional premiere of The Tamingand Broadwayworld was there for one of the performances. THE WIDOW OF TOM'S HILL to Receive New York Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome Scripts Up! (Janet McCall and David Spaulding, producers) with the New York premiere of THE WIDOW OF TOM'S HILL, written by Aleks Merilo and directed by Rachel Black Spaulding. THE WIDOW OF TOM'S HILL begins performances on Thursday, October 29 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 15. Press opening is Tuesday, November 3 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday & Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. OTHER DESERT CITIES Opens Tonight at Asolo Repertory Theatre

The politically divided and emotionally stunted Wyeth family puts the 'fun' in dysfunctional in Jon Robin Baitz's OTHER DESERT CITIES. Opening night will be tonight, January 17 at 8pm, and the show will run through February 27.

OTHER DESERT CITIES to Open 1/17 at Asolo Repertory Theatre

The politically divided and emotionally stunted Wyeth family puts the 'fun' in dysfunctional in Jon Robin Baitz's OTHER DESERT CITIES. Previews for this ferocious production will be held January 15 - 16, opening night will be on January 17 at 8pm, and the show will run through February 27. FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training Director/Associate Artistic Director of Asolo Rep Greg Leaming will be at the helm of this five-time 2012 Tony Award-nominated production. OTHER DESERT CITIES, a 2012 Pulitzer Prize Finalist, had its Off Broadway premiere in January 2011 and transferred to Broadway in November 2011.
