Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere new musical FOUND, directed by Lee Overtree, featuring a book by Tony Award® nominee Hunter Bell ([title of show]) and Lee Overtree, music and original lyrics by Eli Bolin and choreography by Monica Bill Barnes, began performances September 18 Off Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street). Katie Brayben will play the title role in the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musicalopening at the Aldwych Theatre in February next year. Alan Morrissey will play King's husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, with Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Glynis Barber as Genie Klein, King's mother, and Gary Trainor as music publisher and producer Don Kirshner. London previews beginning on 10 February 2015 and with the show currently booking to 13 June 2015. Press night will now take place on 24 February at 7pm. Final casting will be announced shortly.

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation will welcome Tony nominee Cristin Milioti for a conversationational event for her new NBC television comedy A TO Z, followed by a Q&A. The event is slated for Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at 1pm at NYIT-Auditorium on Broadway.

Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre launches its 27th Theatre Season with a revival of Conor McPherson's PORT AUTHORITY, directed by Ciaran O'Reilly. The production, which features Billy Carter, Peter Maloney, and James Russell, begins previews tonight, September 24th. The Press Opening is scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd. The production is scheduled to be performed through Sunday, November 16th.

Primary Stages in association with Susan Dietz (Fela!, Mothers and Sons), presents the world premiere of While I Yet Live by the Tony-winning star of Kinky Boots and Angels in America, Billy Porter, and directed by Tony Award nominee Sheryl Kaller (Mothers and Sons, Next Fall, Adrift in Macao). While I Yet Live plays a limited, six-week engagement, tonight, September 24, through October 31 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 West 42nd Street). On Monday, September 22, 2014, The Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 recipients at its annual event. Los Angeles City College students will get the unique opportunity to mount a full theater production in a professional environment with the support of a professional design team. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in association with Los Angeles City College Theatre Academy presents Our Lady of 121st Street by Stephen Adly Guirgis for eight performances, Oct. 24 through Nov. 1, as part of the Odyssey's student outreach program THE ODDS.
