Registration for the fall semester of Italian language classes offered at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is now open. In order to avoid conflict with the Christmas/New Year holidays, the 15-week semester will begin September 1, 2010.

In spite of overcast skies and intermittent drizzle, a good size crowd joined in celebration of Ferragosto at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum on Sunday, August 15.

On Sunday, February 21 at 1 p.m., as part of the Terza Domenica Heritage Series, Professor Louis Leonini will start spring off a little early with 'Italian Holiday Customs & Traditions.'

Registration is now open for Italian language classes at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum. The spring semester features our popular new Introduction to Italian Language, History & Culture, parts I & II. Classes begin the week of February 22 and run for 15 weeks.

For the first time, the spring semester of Italian language classes offered at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum will feature Introduction to Italian Language, History & Culture, parts I & II, for those wanting to begin Italian language class in mid-semester as well as those continuing from the fall semester.

This winter, the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum, located on Staten Island, is offering a variety of events. The scheudle for January thru March can be found below.

Auditions for Bloomington Civic Theatre's The King and I (Director Rick Shiomi, Music Director Anita Ruth, Choreographer Sandy Agustin) will be Sun., 8/23 and Mon., 8/24 at 6:30. Callbacks will be held Sun., 8/30, at 6:30. Actors called back should be dressed for movement on 8/30. Audition location is the Center for the Arts in the Bloomington Civic Plaza, located on the southeast corner of 98th St. and Logan Ave.
