Tom Waits tunes and Teller magic create a haunting and ethereal mood for THE TEMPEST at American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass., but despite its brilliant execution, this inventive and entertaining adaptation doesn't quite deliver the perfect storm.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has now added a third and final week of performances for the world premiere of THE TEMPEST, which will now play April 6-27, with special preview performances April 1-4. The opening night celebration will take place on Saturday, April 5. Produced in association with the American Reparatory Theater (A.R.T.), THE TEMPEST is adapted and directed by Aaron Posner and Teller from the play by William Shakespeare, with magic by Teller, music by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan and movement by Matt Kent of Pilobolus. THE TEMPEST will perform at The Smith Center's Donald W. Reynolds Symphony Park in a 500-seat climate-controlled tent. Tickets start at $35 for regular performances and $25 for preview performances. Performances still begin tonight, January 9 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 26.

Capitol Hill's Folger Theatre today announced that the run of its critically acclaimedproduction of William Shakespeare's play Henry V will be extended an additional week, running through Sunday, March 10. The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), boasts an impressive cast of just 13, led by Zach Appelman, garnering unanimous praise as the young King Henry. Katie deBuys also stars as Katherine, the Princess of France, alongside Richard Sheridan Willis, Louis Butelli, Chris Genebach, Catherine Flye, James Keegan, among others.

The epic story of King Henry V's battle with the French during the Hundred Years' War comes alive for the first time at the Folger Theatre, in William Shakespeare's historical drama Henry V. The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), stars Zach Appelman (War Horse on Broadway) in his Folger Theatre debut as Henry V, and will run from tonight, January 22 - March 3, 2013.
