The Dessoff Choirs, led by Music Director Malcolm J. Merriweather, will celebrate the legacy of Stephen Sondheim with a concert by the 20-voice Dessoff Chamber Choir on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 7:30pm at Roulette.

The Taiwan Philharmonic - known as the National Symphony Orchestra in its homeland - will be one of the first international orchestra to be presented by the New York Philharmonic in David Geffen Hall in their return to the United States for a national tour this spring, led by new Music Director Jun Märkl.

This season's offerings include the popular sing-along of Handel's Messiah followed by a pair of concerts comprising carols and seasonal favorites. 

The George Walker album, available worldwide on November 4 with The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Möst, offers an exploration of the composer's Pulitzer Prize–winning Lilacs for voice and orchestra with soprano Latonia Moore, as well as Antifonys for string orchestra, and Sinfonias No. 4 and No. 5.

The Dessoff Choirs begins its 2022-23 season with a long overdue exploration of the first published Black composer, Vicente Lusitano, paired with music by the last Impressionist composer, Maurice Duruflé.
