The Public Theater Shifts THE TOTAL BENT Performances to Begin 2/24

The Public Theater announced new February dates today for THE TOTAL BENT by Stew and Heidi Rodewald and directed by Joanna Settle. The shift in dates for this Public Lab production is due to an unforeseen construction-related delay that prevented the show from getting into the theater on the scheduled start date. The Public Theater's building renovation has been underway since fall 2008 and is expected to be completed on time this summer.

Amas Musical Theatre Presents BURLY-Q! A Gay Burlesque, 12/13 & 14

Amas Musical Theatre, Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer, will present three shows only of BURLY-Q! A Gay Burlesque, created by Phillip George (co-director of Forbidden Broadway), on Tuesday, December 13 at 6:00pm and Wednesday, December 14 at 3:00pm and 7pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street. The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will present post-show discussions following select performances of the Public Lab production, TITUS ANDRONICUS, directed by Michael Sexton. The Public Lab Thursday Night Speaker Series for TITUS ANDRONICUS will be held following the Thursday, December 8 and Thursday, December 15 performances and consist of engaging conversations with notable panelists. Jay O. Sanders to Lead Public Theater's TITUS ANDRONICUS; Full Cast Announced

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) announced complete casting today for William Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS, the third Public Lab production of the fall season. Directed by Michael Sexton, TITUS ANDRONICUS runs Tuesday, November 29 through Sunday, December 18 at The Public Theater, with an official press opening on Tuesday, December 13. Tickets for TITUS ANDRONICUS are on sale now; all tickets for Public Lab productions are $15.

Tony Yazbeck, Jill Paice & More Join Lorna Luft in Paper Mill's WHITE CHRISTMAS

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) today announced the cast and creative team for its holiday musical, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Irving Berlin's White Christmas will be directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Randy Skinner and musical direction by Steven Freeman. The cast features: James Clow (Bob Wallace), Tony Yazbeck (Phil Davis), Jill Paice (Betty Haynes), Meredith Patterson (Judy Haynes), Edward James Hyland (General Waverly) and Lorna Luft (Martha Watson).

Florida Studio Theatre opens its Cabaret Season on October 12 with That's Life, Again, a journey to the time when livin' was easy, with stylish songs like 'New York, New York,' 'Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime,' and 'My Way.'

Paper Mill Playhouse's production of a new Disney stage musical, Newsies, will officially open tonight. Revolutionary newsie Jack Kelly will be portrayed by Jeremy Jordan of Broadway's West Side Story and Rock of Ages. Tony® Award nominee John Dossett will play newspaper giant Joseph Pulitzer.
