Sky-Pony, with Lauren Worsham, Brings the Carnival to Knitting Factory Tonight

Sky-Pony (which is fronted by Tony nominee Lauren Worsham of Broadway's A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) will present a carnivalesque evening of music and performance, featuring a concert by the band as well as the theatrical acrobatics of 2 Ring Circus and party-tastic Weezer cover band Surf Wax America.

ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS Begins Tonight at TheatreSquared

TheatreSquared (T2) will launch its ninth season with the acclaimed comedy One Man, Two Guvnors, a new adaptation by Richard Bean of the classic farce The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni.

Lena Hall and Lauren Worsham's Bands Play Mercury Lounge on 10/5

On October 5, two NYC rock bands featuring Broadway stars will hit the stage at Mercury Lounge: Sky-Pony (led by Tony nominee Lauren Worsham of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) followed by The Deafening (led by Tony winner Lena Hall of Hedwig and the Angry Inch).

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). Special guests included: Adam Chanler-Berat, Justin Guarini, Zach Unger, Barrett Foa, Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Condola Rashad, Robin de Jesus, Seth Rudetsky, Telly Leung and more! Since its formation in 2012, Sky-Pony has garnered a cult following for sets that merge rock show and theatrical event. The Wall Street Journal describes Sky-Pony as 'a 1960s girl group on crack - tight, fierce, hilarious and out of their minds.'
