The Hypocrites are thrilled to continue their 2015-16 with return of The Ruffians' critically acclaimed holiday hit, BURNING BLUEBEARD by Jay Torrence, directed by Halena Kays and featuring last season's full cast. This fantastical tale inspired by Chicago's 1903 Iroquois Theatre fire has been an annual Chicago holiday favorite for two years running. BURNING BLUEBEARD will play tonight, November 19, 2015 - January 10, 2016 at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage, 1329 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Artistic Director Carin Silkaitis is proud to announce the launch of The Other Theatre Company, a new Equity theatre company, and its debut production, Anna Deavere Smith's Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992. The production, directed by Jason W. Gerace, will play at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division St., January 23 – February 22. Previews are Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m.Opening/Press night is Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m. (NOTE: performance times have been updated as of January 12).
