On Tuesday, March 20, acclaimed cabaret vocalist Terese Genecco celebrated the third anniversary of her monthly shows at Iridium Jazz Club with a launch party for her new CD release, 'Terese Genecco & Her Little Big Band: Live from the Iridium NYC.'

"DANNY and SYLVIA: THE DANNY KAYE MUSICAL", the long-running musical at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, which opened May 13, 2008, will close on Friday, April 27th after a special added performance at 1 PM. The musical would have celebrated its 3rd anniversary this May.

On last night's Jonah Hill-hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, Oscar nominee Kristen Wiig performed an impersionation of a 1982 version of the legendary Liza Minnelli in a sketch entitled 'Liza Minnelli Tries to Turn Off a Lamp.'

The Persian Room at the Plaza Hotel itself featured headliners including Liza Minnelli, Dolores Hope, Eartha Kit, Carol Channing, Diahann Carroll, Andy Williams, Lainie Kazan, Patti Page, and the Chairman of the Board/Ole Blue Eyes - Frank Sinatra, not to mention literary icons such as Eloise (courtesy of Hilary Knight).
