Ann Hampton Callaway returns to Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola to pay tribute to NEA Jazz Master and GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award winner Sarah Vaughan, the singer to whom Callaway is most often compared. Callaway takes the comparison as a compliment, having already demonstrated her comfort with several daring, assured, and well-received tributes to her influences and contemporaries; from covers of classic ballads that already have decades-old 'definitive' renditions, to the 'Streisand Songbook,' Callaway knows how to add her own voice to a wide range of popular repertoire. On Saturday, June 1 at 8pm, 9-time Tony Award-winner Tommy Tune will take the stage at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) to offer "Steps in Time" - A Broadway Biography in Song & Dance, highlighting his nearly 50-year career as an actor, dancer, singer, theatre director, producer, and choreographer.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed comedy/variety show - will conclude its Spring 2013 season on Thursday, May 16 at The Duplex in New York's West Village. After a sell-out year, The Meeting* has added a second performance each month due to popular demand; there are now shows at 7:000 PM and 9:30 PM.

Bay Area Cabaret will conclude its 2012-2013 season by honoring the memory and legendary career of composer Marvin Hamlisch. Selections from his work (A Chorus Line, The Way We Were, They're Playing Our Song) will be performed by special guests including Broadway stars Lisa Vroman (The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd) and Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard), Grammy Award winner Billy Stritch, 2012 Bay Area Teen Idol winner Bobby Conte Thornton, Academy Award-winning songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and other guest artists to be announced. Having performed with Bay Area Cabaret for the grand re-opening of the Venetian Room in 2010, Mr. Hamlisch will always hold a special place in Bay Area Cabaret's history. This tribute to his legacy will take place on the late composer's 69th birthday, Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 8pm in the historic Venetian Room of the Fairmont San Francisco (950 Mason Street). The New York Philharmonic will present An Enchanted Evening with Paulo Szot, a one-night-only performance in which Tony Award winner and Metropolitan Opera artist Paulo Szot and divas from Broadway and television team up in a diverse program of Brazilian, Broadway, and concert songs.

Now according to the New York Times, Roundabout Theater Company, which revived the musical back in 1998, is planning to bring the show back to Studio 54 in early 2014. Composer John Kander revealed to NYT that a revival is indeed in the works, with Alan Cumming attached to reprise his role as the Emcee. Rehearsals are planned to begin in January 2014.
