Recently, Caruso and musical director Billy Stritch have taken the extreme open mic on the road, celebrating talent in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago and London. Now, the dynamic duo will bring the musical madness to Miami, debuting at Cabaret South Beach on May 28.

The 10th Anniversary STELLA BY STARLIGHT Gala just took place last night, May 11, 2015 at The Prince George Ballroom in New York City, with Honorary Chair Donald Katz, to celebrate and benefit the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. The Marlon Brando Award for excellence in the arts and a life devoted to social engagement was presented to ETHAN HAWKE; The Harold Clurman Spirit Award for courageous contribution to the culture of the City of New York and beyond to TRYMAINE LEE; The Stella Adler Award for consummate artistic achievement and interpretation to KATE MULGREW; and The Group Theater Award for prolific achievement in theater, film and television arts and community and social commitment to JOHN PATRICK SHANLEY.

VERONIC VOICES to Support Human Rights Campaign as Part of 'Lend Your Voice'

VERONIC Voices will raise a glass to the LGBT community during May and June performances to benefit the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The hit show at Bally's Las Vegas will celebrate diversity as part of "Lend Your Voice," which supports selected nonprofit organizations.

Award-winning music producer, critic and translator Lawrence Schulman will give a talk on Judy Garland, entitled "Moments of Magic," at the Rockland Public Library on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 6 P.M. Admission is free. The one-and-a-quarter hour talk will examine Judy Garland's life and career, and feature nine audio-video clips, to be followed by a question and answer. Schulman will endeavor to answer the question: "If I had just one hour to convince you of Judy Garland's place in classic American popular music, what film and television performances would I choose?"

After a 20-year absence from Manhattan cabaret, Roslyn Kind resurfaced last year with a sold out run at 54 Below. The show was a hit and audiences so adored her, she probably could have extended a month. At the time, she was fresh off a world tour that that began at Brooklyn's Barclays Center and famously included her nephew Jason Gould, acclaimed jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, and half sister Barbra Streisand with whom she sang some duets. The Brooklyn native returned to 54 Below for the first three days in May and again her show was a hit under the masterful direction of Broadway's Richard Jay-Alexander

The circus is coming to the Durham Performing Arts Center from May 12th-17th in the form of the national touring production of the Tony Award-Winning revival of Pippin! In this national tour happens to be John Rubinstein, who originated the title role in the orginal Broadway production back in 1972. Now he plays Pippin's father Charlemagne, a role originated on Broadway by Eric Berry, and more recently in the 2013 Broadway revival Three-Time Tony Nominee by Terrence Mann.
