The Hollywood Museum is thrilled to announce its 2017 salute to the LGBTQ community's contributions to the entertainment industry. The fourth annual "REAL to REEL: Portrayals and Perceptions of LGBTQs in Hollywood" exhibit, in partnership with Los Angeles City Council member Mitch O'Farrell, is an educational, entertaining and informative retrospective of LGBTQ images in film, TV, new digital platforms featuring costumes, props, photos, and iconic imagery all telling the story of the milestones and influence that LGBTQ characters and plot lines have had in Hollywood from early stereotypes to modern-day representations.

Seth Sikes will return to Provincetown as part of the 2017 Broadway Series season at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre. Artists in Partnership (A.I.P.) and the Long Beach Public Library proudly present the 15th Annual Long Beach, L.I. Cabaret Festival from Wednesday, May 17 through May 21 (Sunday), 2017.  All performances are free and open to the public, held in the library's second-floor performance space, 111 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY, a few blocks from the Long Island Railroad stop, making it accessible for out-of-towners traveling by rail. This year's theme is "Cabaret… at Any Age" and that is underscored by the inclusion of three impressive and serious-minded singers aged 9, almost 13, and recently turned 16; two acclaimed vocalists in their early 20s; five over the age of 60 (two of them actually over 80!); and one ageless local favorite returnee.  The   eclectic roster features singers and musicians of different stripes who have won acclaim and awards.
