Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jon Steingart and Jenny Wiener Steingart, Executive Producers) proudly present Two Girls for Five Bucks and the Ten Dollar Heartbreakers, written and performed by Cathleen Carr and Daiva Deupree and directed by Andy Donald. After a development process that began in Ars Nova's comedy series Tragedy Tomorrow, sketch comedy dynamos Carr and Deupree present their most ambitious show yet.

But when his life and work are put on trial, Alan must confront the painful connection between his pursuit of artificial life and his first love's death.

Flahive, Grote, and Magid Named KEEN TEENS 2009 Writers

Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the publishing company Playscripts, Inc. has selected the writers for the program's third season. Liz Flahive, Jason Grote and Cheri Magid have been commissioned to write thirty minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway in May 2009.
