Named “…one of rock's most astute singer/songwriters of the last 40 years” by the Los Angeles Times, John Hiatt is touring in support of his 2014 release, Terms of My Surrender. A master lyricist and satirical storyteller, Hiatt weaves hidden plot twists into fictional tales of redemption, relationships, growing older, and surrendering through his acoustic blues and soulful, gritty voice.

For its third monthly production, Dorothy's Piano Bar and Cabaret presents two fabulous performers who have known each other well over 20 years, having worked together at Village Theatre in Issaquah and in various clubs in the Pacific Northwest.

In collaboration with The Recording Academy, Great Performances presents 'GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends,' a special all-star concert offering a primetime spotlight for The Academy's 2016 Special Merit Awards recipients.The celebration and tribute concert features rare performances by honorees and never-before-seen renditions by those they've inspired.

Led by a modern-day Linda Ronstadt, Granville Automatic writes songs the Associated Press calls "haunting tales of sorrow and perseverance."

Viva La Diva!: The Music of Carole King, Barbra Streisand, Patsy Cline, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin (and many more), starring Broadway and recording artist Carter Calvert, will play the Algonquin Arts Theatre on October 15, 2016.

It all starts very simple. A steady piano, a lilting flute. A young woman descending a staircase in the ballgown of every little girl's dreams, meeting her intended at the base. They beam at one another; she curtsies, he bows. As the iconic voice of Angela Lansbury enters the equation through an enchanted teapot, infusing the sequence with warmth and wisdom, the woman and her very unlikely suitor enter the ballroom. Finally having learned to ignore their differences, the two sway and twirl their way into happily ever after.

Winter Park Playhouse Artistic Director and veteran professional performer, Roy Alan, premieres his solo cabaret Astaire Way To Paradise September 21 and 22, 2016 in The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series. Playhouse Music Director, Christopher Leavy, will accompany on piano.

Not only is Dolly's highly-anticipated new album Pure & Simple available Friday, August 19, but Dolly Parton's SiriusXM special is also airing on Willie Nelson's SiriusXM channel, Willie's Roadhouse!
