LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & UPRIGHT CABARET are thrilled to announce American Idol star Frenchie Davis will appear in the second show of their second season, SWEET SOUL MUSIC! SWEET SOUL MUSIC will feature the music of Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight, under the musical direction of Gerald Sternbach.

Multi-talented songwriter Jimmy Webb has been elected Chairman of the Board of the Songwriters Hall of Fame by its Board of Directors.

Singer-songwriter and pianist Kenny White, hailed by the New York Times as 'about as enlivening as anything heard on the pop front this year,' along with being praised by American Songwriter, Relix and San Francisco Chronicle, among others, will perform a series of concerts at New York's legendary Café Carlyle February 19 & 26 and March 5 & 12.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & UPRIGHT CABARET are thrilled to announce the remaining performers for its second show of their season, SWEET SOUL MUSIC, which will include Tony Award-nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Broadway: The Color Purple, The Scottsboro Boys), & Leslie Odom, Jr. (Broadway: Rent, Jersey Boys, Regional: Leap of Faith opposite Brooke Shields), with the previously announced American Idol star Frenchie Davis, performing the music of RAY CHARLES, MARVIN GAYE and GLADYS KNIGHT, and their own selections, under the musical direction of Todd Schroeder, in a one night only concert - SWEET SOUL MUSIC.

The Presenters Dolan announce their upcoming slate of artists and shows at the Kranzberg Arts Center as part of their new season celebrating Cabaret and the American Songbook. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its Fall 2010 season with the return of Howard McGillin - record breaking star of Broadway's Phantom of the Opera - on Monday, December 6. His new show, which includes songs from the musical theater as well as romantic pop classics and swing standards, features Music Director Joseph Thalken on piano and John Beal on bass. Monday's performance will feature special guest, Broadway soprano, Rebecca Luker. The shows take place at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
