A Class Act is a musical with a book by Linda Kline and Lonny Price and music and lyrics by Edward Kleban. The musical is based on the life of composer-lyricist Ed Kleban, who died at the age of 48 in 1987. The musical uses flashbacks and the device of time running backwards to retrace the high and low points of Kleban's personal and professional life.

The critically acclaimed musical Mama and Her Boys will close following tonight's performance. Previews began February 11 toward a February 18 opening. Originally slated to run through March 4, Mama and Her Boys was twice extended. Upon its close, the show will have enjoyed a 13-week run.

Coleen Sexton will join the cast of the hit Off-Broadway musical Mama and Her Boys April 30. Sexton has appeared on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde and Off-Broadway in Forever Dusty. Her national tour credits include Wicked and Legally Blonde. She is also a member of the Broadway Dolls. She joins current New York cast members Erik Keiser, Steven Boyd Baker and Sarah Kleeman on 4/30. Sexton joins previously announced guest star Cristin J. Hubbard (Phantom, The Pirate Queen) who returns to the show on 5/7.
