Prague Shakespeare Company hosts 2023 Summer & Winter Shakespeare Intensives In Prague, Czech Republic.

The 29 Northwestern University seniors selected for this year's New York Showcase had spent winter quarter choosing and preparing their material to present to agents and industry professionals during spring break.

On Tuesday, February 13, Hunter College alum Lin-Manuel Miranda joined Bill and Melinda Gates for a conversation at Hunter College.  They explored the Gates Foundation's 10th Annual Letter and why they are optimistic about the state of the world.  The three answered compelling questions from an audience full of Hunter students of all ages and Facebook Live viewers about philanthropy, global health, education, and current events. Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) is thrilled to announce the selection of Bonnie J. Butkas as its new Executive Director. Butkas comes to MRT from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she served as Senior Director of Foundation Relations. She is expected to begin work at MRT later this fall.

The third annual RED NOST DAY took place today concluding a six-week campaign of activity across the country. The campaign raised at least $35 million to help children in need, and has now raised more than $95 million in its first three years in the U.S.

The venerable Ogunquit Playhouse, which is celebrating its 85th Anniversary season is once again joining forces with Rotary International to continue in the fight to eradicate polio worldwide by 2018. The annual Rotary Night is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, for the evening performance of Mamma Mia! Joining the fight is as easy as buying a ticket to the international hit show! A portion of every ticket purchased for that evening's performance will be donated to Rotary International. The Ogunquit Playhouse has contributed over $10,000 towards this cause through Rotary Night ticket proceeds over the past six years.
