Director Jack O'Brien Takes Part in LC Dialogues Series; Watch Live Stream

Tonight, February 19 (7:30PM) the LC Dialogues series continues with Artist to Artist with Jack O'Brien and Benjamin Endsley Klein, at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center (Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Streets)?. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

New York Premiere of L'AMANT ANONYME Set for 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will welcome the return of the little OPERA theatre of ny with the New York premiere of L'Amant Anonyme, adapted and directed Philip Shneidman from the opera by Chevalier de Saint-Georges, with a libretto by Desfontaines after Mme. de Genlis. Conducted by Elliot Figg with Art Direction by Sanford Biggers, L'Amant Anonyme begins performances on Saturday, March 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 20. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday & Saturday at 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Tickets are $35 ($24.50 for 59E59 Members). Broadway's THE KING AND I to Offer Autism-Friendly Performance in April

The Sunday April 24, 3:00pm matinee performance of Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street, NYC) completes the fifth season of autism-friendly performances presented by TDF's Autism Theatre Initiative (ATI). The other autism-friendly performances of Broadway shows this season are The Lion King (September 27, 2015), Wicked (February 7, 2016) and Aladdin (March 6, 2016).

Tony Winner Kelli O'Hara Will Depart THE KING AND I on 4/17; Marin Mazzie Will Take Over!

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of André Bishop, Producing Artistic Director) has announced that 3-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie will assume the role of Anna Leonowens in its Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I beginning Tuesday, May 3 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Route 66 & VS. Theatre Company to Stage West Coast Premiere Of NO WAKE

Chicago-based Route 66 Theatre Company, in association with VS. Theatre Company, is pleased to announce the transfer of the critically-acclaimed, smash-hit Chicago production of NO WAKEby William Donnelly and directed by Kimberly Senior (Sex With Strangers - Geffen Playhouse, Disgraced - Mark Taper Forum) to VS. Theatre. The West Coast premiere of NO WAKE will preview on Thursday, February 25; will open on Friday, February 26 and perform through Saturday, March 19, 2016 at VS. Theatre Company, 5453 W. Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Writers Theatre Opens New Theatre Center

Writers Theatre today opened its new theatre center, featuring two theatres in a stunning building designed by Studio Gang Architects, led by principal Jeanne Gang, and built by general contractor W.E. O'Neil Construction. The new home, the centerpiece of a $34 million fundraising campaign, provides nationally-recognized Writers Theatre with two intimate performance spaces under one roof, improved patron and artist amenities, and rehearsal and production spaces. Located on the site of the former Woman's Library Club of Glencoe, the new center was developed in partnership with the Woman's Library Club and the Village of Glencoe.

Austin Pendleton to Direct LUNA GALE at Cleveland Play House

Cleveland Play House's (CPH) monumental 100th Season continues with the regional premiere of LUNA GALE. CPH welcomes back film and stage legend Austin Pendleton to direct this contemporary drama that begs the question 'To whom do you belong?' Written by Rebecca Gilman, recipient of the 2015 Roe Green Award, LUNA GALE runs February 27 - March 20 in the intimate Allen Theatre.
