David Alan Thornton presents a staged reading of his original musical Little Bitters Monday, September 15 at the Galway Pub. Can you love someone else if you've lost yourself? Little Bitters seeks to answer the question as it follows the up-by-his-bootstraps romantic Mikey, the bitchier-than-thou ex-Jazz-singer Pearl, and the young mother Liz: all trapped behind the service aprons of their local bar. One by one, they discover the small beautiful things in their lives that may- or may not- make them worth the living. After postponing their production of Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas, which was originally slated to play at The Actors' Playhouse, the Alternative Theatre Company (Joe Marshall, Founder/Artistic Director; Adrian Maynard, Managing Director) announces that as of Thursday, May 27 Joe Marshall's A Night In Vegas has found a new home at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker Street). Directed by Joe Marshall, opening bight will be Saturday, June 5. Premium seats are $50 and general admission tickets are $35 and can be purchased by visiting Telecharge.com.
