Interval Productions are launching a brand new brit-rock musical featuring the songs of Tim Prottey-Jones, and it's about time. Tim's albums, [More With Every Line and Surrounded by the Sounds], have been musical theatre favourites for some time, but as of yet, a show containing them has never been performed!

Along with previously announced Michael Ball, also starring in the U.K. Tour of Hairspray will be Laurie Scarth, Liam Doyle, and Danny Bayne. The tour begins at the Cardriff Millenium Centre and will begin March 30th, immediately following its West End closing. The tour is scheduled to run through January 2011 with stops in Glasgow, Southampton, Wolverhampton, Leeds, Manchester, Plymouth, Liverpool, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Birmingham, Bradford and Edinburgh. Whatsonstage.com is reporting that the UK tour of High School Musical 2: Live on Stage will close three months early. The production, a follow-up to the wildly successful original High School Musical, was initially scheduled to close on 29 May, 2010 after launching at London's New Wimbledon Theatre on 22 August. It will now take its final bow on 27 February, 2010.
