BVA Compass Broadway at the Hobby Center announces that individual tickets for School of Rock The Musical are on sale now. School of Rock The Musical will play The Hobby Center on January 30-February 4, 2018.

Based on Richard Linklater's 2003 film of the same name, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a down-on-his-luck wannabe rock star who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. When he discovers his students' musical talents, he enlists his fifth-graders to form a rock group and conquer the Battle of the Bands.

Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber has announced casting has been finalized for the national tour of his high-octane Broadway and West End hit School of Rock - The Musical! The tour will make a stop in Milwaukee on November 21-26, 2017.

Broadway In Chicago and Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber have announced that casting has been finalized for the national tour of the high-octane Broadway and West End hit, SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL.

Washed up and slowly approaching middle age, rocker Dewey Finn (Rob Colletti) is living on his best friend's couch, stuck in his glory days in a college band. He finds himself strapped for cash and soon devises a plan to win the Battle of the Bands, enlisting, of course, the famous School of Rock band, which is comprised of prep school children rocking gnarly licks on the guitar, riffing vocal solos, and pounding drum beats.

Remember Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer of such Broadway standards as JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, CATS, EVITA, and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA? You know the King Midas of the West End? The crown prince of Broadway?

On Monday, March 27, 2017 at 5 p.m., Open Doors Productions & Theatricals will present an industry reading of 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey, the Musical - a ghostly original Off-Broadway-bound musical that was originally built to be like the blockbuster musicals harking back to the days of Zeigfeld - with book by Alabama playwright and actor Don Everett Garrett and music by Kevin Francis Finn.
