Today Wolverhampton Grand Theatre announced a brand new season, including the touring production of sell-out West End musical FUNNY GIRL.

The Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) will be streaming the opera The Flying Dutchman and the ballet Alice in Wonderland live from the Finnish National Opera and Ballet on the Yle Klassinen website.

Based on Lewis Carroll's classic children's book , this energetic production follows a young girl named Alice , as she falls down a rabbit hole and embarks on a bizarre and extraordinary journey to discover her true identity.

The Australian Ballet's Artistic Director David McAllister and Executive Director Libby Christie today announced the 2017 program.  Mirror Visions Ensemble (MVE), currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, presents its unique program Flights of Fantasy at the Loreto Theater at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture on Friday, October 14 at 8:00 p.m. and in a collaborative performance with New York University students at NYU's Loewe Theater on Monday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Founded in 1977, ACO remains the only orchestra in the world dedicated exclusively to the creation, performance, preservation, and promulgation of music by American composers. To date, ACO has performed music by 800 American composers, including 350 world premieres and newly commissioned works. ACO takes its commitment to fostering new work beyond the stage in its annual Underwood New Music Readings for emerging composers, now in its 26th year in New York, and through its program EarShot, the National Orchestra Composition Discovery Network, which brings the Readings experience to orchestras across the country in partnership with American Composers Forum, the League of American Orchestras, and New Music USA.

Easter Rising: Voice of a Rebel, a BBC Learning virtual reality (VR) experience, is available for the public in a free installation at the National Theatre's Lyttelton Lounge from today. Available until Saturday 22 October, the experience - jointly created by BBC Learning, Crossover Labs and VRTOV, two pioneering companies in the field of VR - is watched using an Oculus Rift headset.

Acclaimed playwright Steven Carl McCasland (Little Wars, What Was Lost, neat & tidy) has debuted his new online anthology of monologues,The Bone Orchard Monologues. Inspired by the classic Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters, McCasland has combined his love of history and monologues for this new anthology.
