From October 21-27, 2013 the Gold Coast Arts Center in collaboration with the Town of North Hempstead presented the 3rd annual Gold Coast International Film Festival (GCIFF)

This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary today, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

New York Stage and Film have announced that its Annual Winter Gala, to be held this year on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at The Plaza Hotel (770 Fifth Avenue, New York City), will honor Oscar nominated multi-hyphenate Stanley Tucci and business luminary Anne Tatlock. Biographies for each can be found below. It was also announced today that, at the gala, Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and Anika Noni Rose will perform selections from Miranda's upcoming The Hamilton Mixtape, which was performed in a concert reading this past summer during the 2013 Powerhouse Season, the annual highlight of the nearly three-decades long collaboration between Vassar College and New York Stage and Film to develop works for the American theater.

Il Divo, the record-breaking classical crossover group who has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide, is set to release their 6th studio album A Musical Affair, on Syco/Columbia Records today, November 5th. The album release will raise the curtains on a limited run of live Broadway performances at The Marquis Theater with special guest, Heather Headley, beginning November 7, 2013.

The 8th Annual Laugh For Sight NYC All-Star Comedy Benefit, announces comedians, Jim Gaffigan and Sue Costello will be joining, Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klein, Hiram Kasten, and Brian Fischler. The benefit, hosted by WFAN's 'Boomer & Carton In the Morning's' Craig Carton, will take place today, October 28th at 7:00p.m. at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City.

Lewis Black is one of the most prolific and popular performers working today. He brings his latest tour The Rant is Due and his triple-threat skills as a comedian, actor and author to the State Theatre for TWO shows on November 21st and 22nd.
