Youngblood, Ensemble Studio Theatre's collective of emerging playwrights under 30 (RJ Tolan/Graeme Gillis, Artistic Directors), will celebrate its fifteenth season this year with Asking For Trouble, the biggest play festival in their history. Youngblood has invited their alumni - 41 playwrights, 35 directors and 120 actors - to participate in the mammoth 5-day event, including many EST members alongside emerging talents like Johnny Pruitt ('Chappelle's Show'), Jessica Andres ('Gossip Girl'), Matt Lauria and Marguerite Stimpson (both of 'Lipstick Jungle').

On Monday September 29th, Xanadu's Mary Testa joined Gypsy's Alison Fraser for a concert to celebrate the work of Fraser's late husband, composer Rusty Magee. The concert - entitled 'Together Again' - was held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, which is located within the West Bank Cafe. The singing actresses were accompanied by a full band led by Allison Leyton-Brown.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to welcome two of Broadway's most esteemed performers - ALISON FRASER and MARY TESTA (with special guest, Annie Golden), for two very special performances as part of our celebrated Voices from the Great White Way Series. On Mondays, September 29th and October 20th @ 7pm, the longtime friends will join forces for their long awaited return to the Beechman stage. There is a $25 cover, as well as a $15 food or beverage minimum (a full bar and dinner menu is available).
