Jon Prescott's MOVERS & SHAKERS Set For Hollywood Fringe Festival

Writer/performer Jon Prescott is set to bring the world premiere of his solo show Movers & Shakers to the Hollywood Fringe Festival, it was announced today by Brimmer Street Theatre Company. Directed by Annie McVey, it will run for three performances only at the Broadwater Blackbox beginning June 7 at 5pm.

Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director), are thrilled to welcome Sarah Utterback of ABC's hit primetime TV drama Grey's Anatomy and Jessica Pimentel of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black to the New York premiere of Surfer Girl, part of Leslye Headland's Sin Cycle Plays. Animus Theatre Company Announces Professional Workshop Programming for 2018

Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director), the artist-driven company whose mission is to explore and illuminate the resilience of the human spirit and lead producer of the now running N.Y. Premiere of Leslye Headland's Surfer Girl , is excited to announce the programming for its 2018 Professional Workshop Series.  

Final Play in 'Seven Deadly Plays' CULT OF LOVE Concludes 10th Anniversary IAMA Season

IAMA concludes its 10th anniversary season with the final installment of Leslye Headland's viciously funny "Seven Deadly Plays" cycle: a black comedy that explores the sin of "pride." Annie Tippe directs the world premiere of Cult of Love, a powerful look at one family's feverish clash over who is right - and who is crazy. Previews begin May 18, with the press opening scheduled for Thursday, May 24. Performances will continue through June 24 at Atwater Village Theatre.

SURER GIRL New York Premiere Kicks-Off With Special Talkback

The New York premiere of Surfer Girl by acclaimed screen & playwright Leslye Headland (Assistance, Bachelorette), presented by Animus Theatre Company (Jonathan Judge-Russo, Founding Artistic Director) in association with The Dirty Blondes, will begin performances tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at The Foley Gallery (59 Orchard Street, between Grand and Hester), located in Manhattan's esteemed Lower Eastside gallery district. In honor of the productions inaugural performance, the evening will include a special post-performance conversation with Ms. Headland, who is currently in NYC filming her previously announced Netflix series with Amy Poehler and Natasha Lyonne.

Joust Theatre Company Announces Playwrights Selected for 'The Writer's Round Table'

The Joust Theatre Company is thrilled to introduce The Writer's Round Table, a new developmental writers' group comprised of four carefully selected playwrights whose work challenges and/or reimagines systemic norms.
