In order to meet ticket interest from patrons, The Carnegie will add a second performance of CHICAGO on Saturday, August 17th at 2pm.

The Carnegie proudly opens its 2013-14 Theatre Series with the musical CHICAGO, playing weekends August 10 - 25, 2013 at The Carnegie in Covington, KY. Directed by Dee Anne Bryll & Ed Cohen, CHICAGO features choreography by Broadway veteran and Cincinnati native David Baum in his local professional debut. Baum's wife and fellow Broadway veteran Leslie Goddard stars as Roxie Hart. The Short North Stage may be small in size, but the talent in the theater for their latest musical is of gigantic proportions. They opened the Columbus premiere of Adam Gwon's musical, 'Ordinary Days' last night with the production's creator in the audience, and if that lead to any nervousness, it certainly didn't show.

The event is to feature the talents of Donna McKechnie, Mary Beth Peil, Paige Davis, Will Chase, Aaron Lazar, Felicia Finley, Dan Reichard, Christiane Noll, Robert Petkoff, Steven Goldsmith, Shonn Wiley, Michael Cunio, and Michael Ingersoll.

Yesterday, on April 28, The Shubert Organization and the Career Transition For Dancers hosted a 'Between the Shows' get together and dinner for for Broadway dance community at Sardi's in Times Square. In attendance was Nick Adams, Kelly Bishop, Caitlin Carter, Mercedes Ellington, Priscilla Lopez, Vivian Nixon, Keith Roberts, John Selya, Judine Somerville and many more of the talented dancers that grace the Broadway stages each night. BroadwayWorld was also on hand for the celebration honoring some of Broadway's best.
