It's a small wonder that Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella" keeps getting dusted off and trotted out every few years. A small wonder due to the fact that there are so many versions of it. And I mean versions of the R&H musical with numbers being removed and others being added in from other shows. And while I felt the 5th Avenue's current production, directed by Brandon Ivie, really only came alive in Act Two, it's not the worst production I've seen … but not the best either.

Bound to create a plethora of discussion and lots of positive and negative opinions, Geoffrey Nauffts' Next Fall, now onstage at the Geffen Playhouse, despite its heavy handed religious themes, boasts a marvelous cast.

An all-star cast of Seattle celebrities will waltz onto the stage of The 5th Avenue Theatre in a holiday ball audiences will never forget: Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Under the direction of Seattle's own Brandon Ivie, this enchanting fairy tale features Jennifer Paz of Miss Saigon as Cinderella and Wicked star Kendra Kassebaum as the Fairy Godmother, as well as local luminaries Suzanne Bouchard, Nick Garrison, Sarah Rudinoff, Brandon O'Neill, Cynthia Jones, Allen Fitzpatrick, and Greg McCormick Allen.

Geoffrey Nauffts' new play Next Fall makes its West Coast debut at the Geffen Playhouse with original director Sheryl Kaller and a completely new cast featuring the playwright himself in a leading role. Next Fall chronicles the relationship of Adam - portrayed by playwright Nauffts whose acting credits include Broadway productions of A Few Good Men and Caine Mutiny Court Martial, and Luke - played by James Wolk, who is most recognizable for his starring role in television's Lonestar and the film You Again.

After concluding its fourth season with season high ratings, IN PLAIN SIGHT, USA Network's hit original scripted series starring Mary McCormack ('The West Wing'), will return for its fifth and final season in Spring 2012. Dundalk Community Theatre concludes its 2010/11 season with Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical version of CINDERELLA from May 13 - 22. There will be a Special Saturday Matinee, May 21, with tickets Two for $25, starting at 2pm. The Matinee will have a special Princess Boutique and Prince Knighting event starting at 12:30pm for children, with the characters from the show. Individual tickets are $22 for adults, $19 for senior adults and $14 for students/DCT Actors/Children 12 and under, for all other performance.
