Let Me Be Frank', an original live show, created by and starring Angelo Divino, will honor the one and only Frank Sinatra on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 2 PM with his story and songs spanning five decades.

Singer and Actress Jane Kinsey's hit one-woman musical cabaret show "The Kinsey Report: The Doctor Is In" will make it's desert debut at the Arthur Newman Theater at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert at 2 PM for one performance on Sunday, June 29, 2014. "This show, which highlights the neuroses of various patients through an eclectic mix of songs along with some very clever patter, has been playing to sold out audiences throughout the Los Angeles area with glowing reviews", says Les Michaels who has known Ms. Kinsey and been a fan of her work for over 10 years, and produces this series of cabaret shows currently in it's 5th season.

Singer and Actress Christine Deaver brings a new one-woman musical cabaret-style concert entitled "Showgirl" to the Arthur Newman Theater at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert at 2 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Christine says "Showgirl" is a zany mix of music from several genres with a splash of audience participation and improvisation. Joining her, as her musical director and pianist, will be David Duvall.

Francesca Amari and Gilmore Rizzo return by popular audience demand with their show, 'A Couple Of Swells' to the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 2 PM. The show takes music & comedy mayhem to a new level, with songs spanning several decades in the tradition of great duos like Lucy & Desi, Sonny & Marie, George & Gracie, Sonny & Cher, Kermit & Miss Piggy and more.

Singer-songwriter Shelley Fisher performs "The Down Home Diva", a one-woman cabaret style concert at a 2 PM matinee on Sunday, May 20th at Arthur Newman Theatre in The Joslyn Center Theater in Palm Desert. The show chronicles Ms. Fisher's Hollywood odyssey that begins in her hometown of Memphis in the heart of Mississippi Delta with a flamboyant but very Jewish mother.

Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret Sundays In Summer Series brings back singer and actor Jordan Miller with his one-man cabaret concert 'The Broadway Leading Man' to the Arthur Newman Theatre at Joslyn Center today, April 20th at 2 PM. The show features songs made famous by such leading men as Howard Keel, John Raitt, Robert Goulet, and Mario Lanza, along with some Broadway and Hollywood history and stories from Miller's own theatrical career.

Los Angeles singer Mary Bogue will bring "A Sentimental Journey" to the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, May 11th at 2 PM as part of Sunday's In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret, currently in it's 5th season.

'Far Away Places' starring Vicki Knight' on April 27th at 2 PM in Palm Desert Originally from Canada, (she's big in Winnipeg) Vicki Knight moved to the Desert area in the early eighties and wasted no time making a name for herself in Southern California, quickly being dubbed 'The Desert's Songbird'. On Sunday, April 27, 2014, Ms. Knight will present her latest cabaret show, 'Far Away Places', featuring songs sung in Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Hebrew, Yiddish, and more, from Scotland, Ireland, England, Canada, and other 'far away places, together with with stories and patter delivered in the comedic style that's become her trademark.

The acclaimed Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert will be back for it's fifth season beginning Sunday, April 6th. With more than 125 shows so far, series producer Les Michaels of Life Is A Cabaret, says, "the audience praises and support grows every year with record-breaking ticket sales", jokingly adding, "Of the 60 plus performers wanting dates, all 29 spots were taken in only 12 hours from the time they were announced - so I guess we're doing something right".

The 2013 SAC Awards, a night of recognition for "The Art of Cabaret" and the community of supporters that proffer it in San Diego, is being held on Monday, January 27th at The Comedy Store La Jolla from 7pm to 10:30pm. The 2013 SAC Awards is one of San Diego's most prominent events for the Arts in San Diego for 2014.

Glee fans will recognize TV news anchor 'Rod Remington' played by Bill A. Jones, but he's also an accomplished singer who'll perform his show "The Great Gentlemen Of Song" on Sunday, October 27th as the closing show of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. Joining Mr. Jones will be musical director Steve Rawlins and his trio. It also marks the final show of the 5th successful season, which has been invited back next year and to begin one month earlier, in April, and run through October.

Francesca Amari will debut a new show entitled 'Songbirds: The Women In My Head' on October 20, 2013 at 2 PM in Palm Desert at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center. Inspired by songs from the Broadway stage, Ms. Lovullo and musical director Christopher Marlowe have combined standards into a new contemporary style that highlights Janene's incredible instrument that can go from dynamic to a whisper.

Les Michaels' 'Sundays in Summer Series,' welcomes Broadway vocalist, Garland and Drama-Logue Award-winning performer, Dean Regan, in 'Give My Regards to Broadway' on October 13, 2013 at 2 PM. Regan's cabaret concert and debut CD of the same name are full of classic songs and new tunes currently lighting up the Great White Way. Regan, who now hails from Los Angeles, worked on the New York stage for ten years. He'll tell unique tales of how he fell permanently in love with Broadway and his adventures behind-the-scenes. Regan is celebrating the recent release of his thirteen-track recording with orchestrations and Musical Direction by Nick Fryman.
