Los Angeles singer Mary Bogue will bring "A Sentimental Journey" to the Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, May 11th at 2 PM as part of Sunday's In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels Life Is A Cabaret, currently in it's 5th season.

"A Sentimental Journey" features songs from several genres including Jazz, Blues, Broadway, and The Great American Songbook, that fit within stories told by Mary about life from childhood through adulthood as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Something Mary will undoubtedly have in common with women in the audience, making it an ideal outing for Mother's Day. Joining Mary for a few numbers will be fellow singer, Al Timss along with pianist Ron Snyder. In addition to live performances, Mary is currently enjoying airplay on Easy Listening stations of the recent release of her single "Don't Go To Strangers".

Mary Bogue in "A Sentimental Journey" with musical director Ron Snyder on piano and special guest Al Timss is being presented on Sunday, May 11, 2014 for a 2 PM matinee with box office opening at 1 PM and tickets $11 cash only at the door at The Arthur Newman Theatre located at The Joslyn Center at 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert.
