Kenneth Gartman's new cabaret show "When In Rome" is set to play Don't Tell Mama October 24 & 25 at 7 pm.  Kenneth made his cabaret debut in 2011 garnering him a nominations for Best Male Debut in the 2012 BWW New York Cabaret Awards. 

Kenneth Gartman's new cabaret show "When In Rome" is set to play BJ Ryan's Magnolia Room October 19 at 8 pm & October 21 at 3 pm. Kenneth made his NYC cabaret debut in 2011 garnering him a nominations for Best Male Debut in the 2012 BWW New York Cabaret Awards. This newest show celebrates Gartman's love of language, culture and travel under the direction of cabaret legend and 10-time MAC Award-winner Lennie Watts with musical direction by Troy Fannin.

The American Songbook Association just presented its first Annual Gala, The Joint Is Jumpin'!, a joyous celebration of contributions to the American Songbook by Black songwriters and notable singers. The ASA also presented its first annual Lifetime Achievement Award to singer Marilyn Maye, presented by her longtime friend, fashion designer, Bob Mackie.

NYC favorites THOSE GIRLS are back at Pangea for one more night of unplugged harmonic revelry! Eve Eaton, Rachel Hanser, Karen Mack, and Wendy Russell joined forces to form this critically acclaimed & multi-award winning vocal project that brings a wide & eclectic mix of musical styles - pop to jazz, country to rock and everything in between - to stages of all shapes and sizes. 2017 & 2018 Award Winners - Best Vocal Duo/Group - Manhattan Assoc. of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC). The sold out house at Don't Tell Mama's for 'Mama's Next Big Act' was treated to some amazing talent. The theme was 'Disney' and each contestant gave their best 'Mouseketeer' along with another song of their choosing.

Get those wigs and sparkly outfits ready, Doris Dear will be the celebrity guest judge for Tuesday's edition on "Mama's Next Big Act" at Don't Tell Mama's! Each week contestants sing their hearts out and a panel of judges, hosted by Lennie Watts, decides who goes on to the next level and continues on to win the grand prize of $1500 to put toward a new show at Don't Tell Mama's and A CROCK POT, Doris Dear's favorite appliance! Tuesday night the Top 8 will be competing for 5 positions. Each singer has been given a theme and will sing their hearts out.

Ballroom, the 1978 Broadway musical that was based on the acclaimed television movie The Queen of the Stardust Ballroom, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an all-star cast at Feinstein's/54 Below on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:00pm.

Five years after her well-received show 'Jazz and Cocktails,' 2008 MAC Award nominee Kathryne Langford returns to the cabaret stage with a compelling and topical new show, 'For What It's Worth.' Directed by multiple MAC Award winner Lennie Watts, Langford's show features songs by Stephen Stills, Bob Dylan, Lennon & McCartney, Sting, David Frishberg, Johnny Mercer and Henri Mancini, and more. The show is at Don't Tell Mama on July 13, September 7, and November 13, all at 7 pm.
