Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Producing Artistic Director) will present free staged readings of "Nellie Beezer's Melting Pot Follies of 1922", a new musical written by Phillip George (co-creator of SHOUT! The Mod Musical and long-time co-director of Forbidden Broadway) and Kathy Griffith, with additional material by Gerard Alessandrini (Forbidden Broadway) and David Caldwell.

Amas Musical Theatre will present free staged readings of NELLIE BEEZER'S MELTING POT FOLLIES OF 1922, a new musical written by Phillip George and Kathy Griffith, with additional material by Gerard Alessandrini and David Caldwell. The readings, also directed by Phillip George, will take place on Monday, October 11th at 6:00pm, and Tuesday, October 12th at 3:00pm and 7:00pm, at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Avenue (10th Floor).

The Triad and the Just A Piano Concert Series presents CARMEN RUBY FLOYD in 'An Eclectic Musical Evening: From Rock to Opera and Her Journey In Between.' Ms. Floyd's credits include Broadway's Tony Award Winning 'Avenue Q,' Disney's 'The Lion King' and Off-Broadway in the original casts of shows such as the critically acclaimed 'Crowns,' 'Little Ham' (about which New York Times critic Bruce Weber wrote'...the swagger and big voice of Carmen Ruby Floyd...provided a shot of star quality and star charisma...') and 'Blind Lemon Blues.' Carmen made her Carnegie Hall debut in the classic recent revival of 'Showboat.'
