WHITE HORSE THEATER COMPANY known for acclaimed productions of plays by Sam Shepard and Tennessee Williams commemorates Tennessee Williams' 100th Birthday by presenting his play, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER. The play is directed by White Horse Producing Artistic Director Cyndy A. Marion recognized for her recent revivals of Williams' Clothes for a Summer Hotel, Small Craft Warnings and In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel. SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER will play a three-week limited engagement at Hudson Guild Theatre (441 West 26th Street, btw. 9th & 10th Ave.). Performances begin Friday, September 16 and continue through Sunday, October 2. Opening Night is Monday, September 19 (8 p.m.).

Theatre Aspen's upcoming summer season, reported Artistic Director Paige Price. The award-winning regional theatre unveiled the brand new Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park on June 24th with two musicals and a comedy. The theatre's 28th season of summer repertory features the regional premiere of Becky's New Car, by native Coloradan Steven Dietz, starring Emmy- and Tony-nominee Sandy Duncan. Opening July 7th is the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics), and the new musical Vices: A Love Story, (story by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Susan Draus, Everett Bradley, Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid). Casting for the 61st Music Circus season has been completed. After auditioning performers in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale has finalized the acting company for the seven-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, including The Producers, Oliver!, Anything Goes, Camelot, Annie Get Your Gun, I Do!
