THE BLONDE THE BRUNETTE AND THE VENGEFUL REDHEAD Opens 2/5

The Manitoba Theatre Centre is ready to make waves with The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, the hit one-woman play by Australian playwright Robert Hewett, on at the John Hirsch Theatre at the MTC Mainstage from February 5 to 28, 2009. The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead is a seven-sided love triangle that doesn't reveal all its secrets until the final curtain. Life in a quiet neighbourhood is turned upside down when the lives of friends and strangers are woven together, and then abruptly torn apart. Nothing is as it seems on the surface in this poignant look at the consequences of love, betrayal and revenge. The creative team also includes Set and Costume Designer Michael Gianfrancesco, Lighting Designer Kevin Fraser, Composer/Sound Designer John Gzowski, Stage Manager Chris Pearce and Apprentice Stage Manager Heather Lee Brereton.
