This hilarious over-the-top musical spin on the story Gone with the Wind is one of the most requested shows in Barter Theatre's history, and it's coming back for a limited engagement to open Barter's 80th season. 'I'll Never Be Hungry Again' opens tonight, February 7 at Barter Stage II. 'Hungry' is written by Barter Playwright-In-Residence Catherine Bush and played to a sold-out runin 2006.

As a new staff member at the Playhouse I had the pleasure of talking with Rob Harrison this week, and it became immediately apparent how deep his ties are not only to the City of Crossville but directly to the Cumberland County Playhouse. He and his cousin, Cosby Stone, are longtime sponsors of the Playhouse and are continuing that tradition this season with FOOTLOOSE, opening Feb 1 and running through Feb. 24th.

Get ready to swing into fall as Barter Theatre takes audiences on a jungle adventure uniting two worlds into one family with 'Tarzan: The Stage Musical.' Beginning tonight, September 14, the story is based on the Disney film, features music by Phil Collins and stars Sean Campos as Tarzan and Holly Williams as Jane, both from Barter's 2008 'Disney's Beauty and the Beast.'

MTV2 announced today that the next installment of 'Sucker Free Road to Release' will follow the journey of Grammy Award winning artist Young Jeezy and feature the exclusive hour-long television premiere of the forthcoming documentary 'A Hustlerz Ambition' on December 18 at 10pm ET / 9pm CT. Starting today, MTV2 will launch a multi screen takeover that features exclusive behind-the-scenes content of Jeezy during the weeks prior to the release of his latest studio effort, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition set for release on Tuesday, December 20.

Twenty-one arts journalists from 13 states have been chosen to participate as fellows in USC Annenberg's seventh National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Arts Journalism Institute in Theater and Musical Theater. Fellows include theater critics, reporters, editors and general arts & entertainment journalists. The Institute will be held in Los Angeles from June 13 to 22, with the generous support of the NEA.
