BOB, BLESSED BE THE DYSFUNCTION THAT BINDS to Perform at Columbia Teachers College, 3.23

The Open Book, Marvin Kaye Co-founder and Artistic Director announces that 'BOB, Blessed Be The Dysfunction That Binds' written and performed by Anne Pasquale and directed by Mary Ann Hay, has been invited to perform at the 2012 WHEN WORLD'S COLLIDE Conference at Columbia Theachers College, 525 W 120th Street on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm. Regularly scheduled performances continue Sunday, March 11th at 2 pm and Sunday, March 18th at 2 pm. All tickets are $18.00 and can be purchased on-line at www.smarttix.com or by calling (212) 864-4444. The 78th Street Theatre Lab now know as the The Soter/Lee Black Box is located at 236 West 78th Street, just east of Broadway.

Leon Directs Opera Margaret Garner; Libretto by Morrison

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, in association with Michigan Opera Theatre (MOT), will co-produce the Chicago premiere of Margaret Garner, a new opera based on one of the most significant and controversial fugitive slave stories in pre-Civil War America, Nov. 1 - 9, 2008.
