International chanteuse Adrienne Haan performs the music of Kurt Weill at the Metropolitan  Room  on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:00pm.  In this soiree, Haan focuses on the works of Kurt Weill and brings to life his most beloved songs.  

The Board of Directors of The Old Globe today announced the departure of Managing Director Michael G. Murphy, who has accepted an appointment as the President and CEO of Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) continues its 54th season with what is considered to be Eugene Ionesco's crowning masterpiece, Exit the King. Performances begin August 10 and continue through August 28 at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue (at Lancaster Road) in Madison. On July 21st, the students of Broadway Artists Alliance of NYC were tearfully overjoyed by a surprise visit from Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry. Recently winning a Tony Award and Grammy for her role as Angelica Schuyler, Goldsberry spoke about the incredible journey that Hamilton has taken from workshopping a concept, to performing at The Public and moving to the Richard Rodgers Theatre, to earning 16 Tony nominations and winning a Pulitzer Prize. Goldsberry captivated the students of Broadway Artists Alliance during a lively Q&A where she offered generous advice. Scroll down for photos from her appearance!

Elsie Fest is back! On September 5 (1PM), thousands of Broadway's biggest fans will gather at the Ford Ampitheatre (Coney Island Boardwalk) for what's been called the Coachella of show tunes - the second annual Great Elsie Fest, a day-long music festival celebrating songs from the stage and screen.

According to the Inquirer, Eric Kunze is set to reunite with with Lea Salonga in Manila production of FUN HOME this November. 

Tony Award Winner, Laura Benanti, delighted the students of Broadway Artists Alliance's Summer Intensive program with a surprise visit this past Thursday! Benanti, who recently finished up a successful run of She Loves Me (2016 Tony Nomination for Leading Actress in a Musical), was as inciteful and entertaining off stage as she is on, during her Q&A with these aspiring young professionals. Tony® and Olivier Award winning star Lea Salonga will return to Australia next February marking her Sydney Opera House debut with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. She will also perform concerts at Arts Centre Melbourne with Orchestra Victoria.

Tony Award Nominee and School of Rock's leading man, Alex Brightman, visited the students of Broadway Artists Alliance on Thursday, July 7th. This morning, Anthony Anderson and Lauren Graham presented the nominations for the 68th EMMY AWARDS from the Wolf Theatre at the Academy's newly-opened Saban Media Center.

The Old Globe presents the West Coast premiere of Paul Gordon's delightfully romantic new musical SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, developed with Rick Boynton and presented in association with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it was commissioned and had its world premiere in April 2015.

MiG Ayesa and Tanya Manalang will headline 'Curtains Up!' a concert produced by Resorts World Manila (RWM) and Ultimate Shows Inc., at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City tomorrow, July 14, at 8 p.m. The artists will be accompanied by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Rodel Colmenar.

THE ESPLANADE THEATER, Singapore - There is no doubt that LES MISERABLES has taken the form of the mammoth blockbuster musical it is now thirty years after its first production and it is clear that this 2016 re-imagined production - currently taking over Southeast Asian theaters and filling them up to the rafters - is a decisive indication that this Cameron Mackintosh ticket is all set to march on for another 30 years, or perhaps even longer.
